Nike Waffle One Black (Women's)

While details regarding a new sacai LD Waffle are still blurry, Nike’s mainstay line is taking matters into their own hands by issuing more colorways of the Nike Waffle One—a model that combines elements from both the aforementioned trainer and the UNDERCOVER Daybreak. Following the emergence of a head-turning “Electric Green” pair last month, a more subdued, white-on-black arrangement has been unveiled.

A black Waffle One has already been seen before, but this new offering incorporated a white side Swoosh, as opposed to a black one that camouflages with the ultra-fine mesh uppers. Matching suede overlays wrap around the toe and heel to add more structure to the model. At the heel, a plastic counter creates the illusion of a triple-stacked sole, reminiscent of the heel counter on the UNDERCOVER Daybreak. A white foam midsole with a black Waffle pattern underfoot rounds out the versatile, yet edgy look.
