Why does this product have a release year displayed?
The release year is displayed to provide transparency regarding the age of the product.
For products released more than 5 years ago, customers should be aware that natural aging may have occurred or may occur in the future.
What does it mean when a product is over 5 years old?
Products released more than 5 years ago are classified under Kick Avenue's Vintage Product Program.
These products may experience natural aging due to storage conditions and the passage of time, even if they are authentic and unused.
Examples may include:
- Glue deterioration
- Sole separation
- Material cracking
- Discoloration
- Yellowing
- Oxidation
Is the product authentic?
Yes.
All products sold on Kick Avenue continue to go through the same authentication process.
However, authentication verifies authenticity only and does not guarantee future durability or resistance to age-related deterioration.
Why can't Vintage Products be returned through Easy Return?
Vintage products have unique age-related characteristics that are disclosed before purchase.
By purchasing a vintage product, customers acknowledge and accept the risks associated with product aging.
Therefore, Vintage Products are not eligible for:
- Easy Return
- Exchange Requests
- Change-of-Mind Returns
What if the damage occurs after I wear the product?
Any damage that occurs after the product has been worn is considered customer responsibility.
Vintage products naturally carry age-related risks which have been disclosed before purchase.
Therefore:
- No refund
- No exchange
- No compensation
will be provided for products that have been worn or used.
Why was my Vintage Product rejected during authentication?
Kick Avenue applies stricter inspection standards for Vintage Products.
Products may be rejected if our LC/QC team identifies:
- Material deterioration
- Cracking
- Sole separation
- Glue failure
- Structural weakness
- Significant age-related damage
This is to ensure products with existing deterioration are not sold to customers.
How can I identify products under the Vintage Product Program?
Products under the Vintage Product Program will display:
- Release Year
- Vintage Product Disclaimer
- Applicable Terms & Conditions
Customers are encouraged to review all information before purchasing.
